Apprenticeship

NCC is committed to apprenticeship training. Currently, approximately 30% of our members are registered apprentices, and 38% of our members are from equity deserving groups.  

Through NCC, employers can receive payments of up to $20,000 for registering two employees as first year apprentices in any of 39 Red Seal trades by March 31, 2024. This funding is provided by the Government of Canada’s Apprenticeship Services program.  Employers will have full discretion in how they spend the funds once received.
